YouTube Video Editing for B2B Founders: Editing Without the Full Package

You already film. You don't want to hire, test and manage an editor. We edit your long videos and Shorts as a stand-alone service, and you can add scripts, thumbnails and publishing later.

What does a stand-alone editing service include?

Editing is about half of what a video costs: it is the longest part of the work and the most expensive one. That is why founders delay publishing, or hire the first freelancer they find. We take your raw footage and turn a talking head into a show: cuts and rhythm, sound, color, graphics, b-roll and music. The same team edits long videos and Shorts, so what you film once works on every platform.

Your thumbnail request (optional)A thumbnail and a title, built as a pair

What the editor adds that a script never says: chapter cards, callouts, a name lower third, transitions

How does our editing process work?

Every video goes through the same steps, so quality doesn't depend on who is having a good day:

  • Style check. For a new client we can make two 30-second style samples before the full edit. The question "will it be what I want?" gets answered in the first days, not after the whole video.
  • Rough assembly. Cutting, sound and color. The editor also chooses music, b-roll and graphics.
  • Internal check. Our producer watches the edit before you do. If it is boring, it goes back to the editor with timecodes.
  • Your review. You say what you like, what you don't, and what to add or remove. You don't direct the edit, because that is the job of the director of editing.
  • Final files. Exported and delivered to your cloud, in a clean project structure.
Three B-roll frames from our videos: a client's video shown full screen, a photo of the person being mentioned in the top-left corner, and archive footage with the date on screen

What do clients say about outsourcing editing?

Justin runs an American football academy. A twenty-minute video took him a full week to edit, and he is a football coach, not an editor. When we edited it, he had a draft in two days and the final in two more. He had two worries before hiring: money, and "will it be what I want?" Two 30-second style samples solved the second one before we edited the full video. He put the saved time into his courses and marketing. Read the story.

How do Shorts and clips come out of one long video?

When the long video is edited, a separate editor picks the strongest moments and cuts them for Shorts, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok. You film once, and the library on every platform grows. Ayuna's Instagram clips cut from her long YouTube videos reached up to 351,000 views. Read her case.

Why editing works better with a plan behind it?

A beautiful edit of a video nobody needs won't bring clients. If you already have a content plan and scripts, editing alone is enough. If not, start with a strategy session, or add thumbnails and publishing. Many clients begin with editing and move to the whole system when they see the difference.

Should you hire an editor yourself instead?

Sometimes yes. If you have time to manage a person, we can help you do it right: the vacancy filters, the portfolio check and the paid one-week test. Read how to hire a YouTube editor, or ask for coaching on contractors if you prefer to hire with someone checking your choices.

FAQ

Can you only edit my videos, without the full package?

Yes. Editing is a stand-alone service. You send the footage, we return a finished video, and we agree the scope on a call. One-off work, like editing, starts from $500.

What do I send you?

The raw footage, your brand book if you have one, two or three reference videos you like, and the topic or script. If you have none of these, we help you collect them on the call.

Who actually edits my video?

A director of editing, not a button-pusher. They turn a talking head into a show: they pick the music, b-roll, graphics and pace, because a script doesn't say any of that. Long videos and Shorts are edited by different people.

How do reviews and revisions work?

First a rough assembly, then an internal check by our producer, and only then a version for you. You react with what you like, what you don't, and what to add or remove. In our monthly work, the first three sets of edits are free. For a one-off project we agree the number of rounds upfront.

Can you match a style I have already?

Yes. Before editing a full video we can make two short style samples of about 30 seconds each, so you see the direction before we commit. This is exactly how one of our clients, an American football coach, got comfortable with outsourcing.

Do you cut Shorts and clips from the long video?

Yes. We cut clips from the long video for YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok, so one filming day feeds every platform. One client's Instagram clips cut from long videos reached up to 351,000 views.

How long does editing take?

It depends on the length and the graphics. A client who needed a week to edit one twenty-minute video himself got a draft in two days and the final two days later. We agree the timeline when we agree the scope.

Who owns the edited video and the footage?

You do. The source files and the finished videos belong to you, and you can publish them anywhere.

Will you use licensed music and footage?

Yes. We work with licensed libraries, so you can publish in any niche without copyright trouble.

Why not hire a freelancer myself?

You can, and we wrote a guide on how to do it. But then you find, test and manage the person, and one editor rarely covers long videos, Shorts and motion graphics. We do the hiring and quality control, and you get a finished video.
