How We Built a Content System for Rating Up's Founder and Company
Search-focused videos, GEO explainers, reputation documentaries, and full publishing across YouTube, Instagram, VK, Rutube, and Dzen.
Bogdan Belokon wanted more people to know his company and trust his expertise.
Bogdan runs Rating Up, a reputation management and GEO agency. Our work together began with a clear task: make the company and its founder more visible, so potential clients could get to know them.
We started with videos answering practical search questions. When Rating Up added a new service, we adjusted the content plan. We also developed broader reputation stories and expanded the short-form output.
My team handled production from ideas to publishing. We booked the studio, brought in a camera operator, and helped Bogdan through the filming session.
What did Rating Up need from its content?
The starting point was visibility and trust for both the business and its speaker.
A potential client could find Bogdan explaining a reputation problem, hear how he approached it, and become familiar with the person behind Rating Up.
That gave us a clear direction for the first videos. We covered questions connected to the company's services, including removing reviews from specific platforms and managing a business's online reputation.
| Starting task | What we built | Recorded audience result |
|---|---|---|
| Increase visibility for Rating Up and Bogdan to support trust. | Search-focused videos, GEO explainers, reputation documentaries, and short-form content distributed across platforms. | YouTube Studio recorded 204,413 channel views, about 1,800 watch hours, and 245 subscribers gained in the 365-day window ending on 11 Oct 2026. Dzen recorded 276,913 reads and views from 1 Nov 2025 to 1 Nov 2026. |
Those audience figures are one part of the case. Confirmed inquiries and a client testimonial are still being collected.
What did the first search-focused videos cover?
We began with questions someone might ask when facing a reputation problem.
A negative review on a marketplace is specific. The person searching wants to understand the platform, their options, and what to do next. That gave Bogdan a practical subject to explain.
These early videos show the approach. The original videos are in Russian; the labels below describe their subjects in English.
| Video subject | Example | Published |
|---|---|---|
| What online reputation management involves | Managing your online reputation | 30 Oct 2025 |
| Removing a review from a marketplace | Removing a review on Avito | 20 Nov 2025 |
| Handling reviews across a platform's services | Removing a review on Yandex | 23 Jan 2026 |
| Dealing with employee reviews | Removing employee reviews | 23 Dec 2025 |
Avito is a Russian classifieds marketplace. Yandex operates search, maps, and other services. For an English-speaking founder, the relevant detail is how closely these topics matched a service the company provided.
Each video gave Bogdan a concrete question to answer. Together, they created a library of explanations people could find while researching reputation management.
Why did we add videos about GEO?
Rating Up expanded its services into GEO, or Generative Engine Optimization. In plain English, this means working on a company's visibility in AI-generated answers.
We adjusted the content plan to explain that service. The subjects expanded from reviews and reputation management into how AI systems find and describe a business.
One example is What is GEO? How to appear in ChatGPT answers, published 1 Apr 2026.
That is about five months after the early reputation-management example published on 30 Oct 2025. These dates show the progression through specific published videos. They do not establish the exact date we decided to change the plan.
The business had added something new to sell. Our job was to help Bogdan explain it on camera and make room for it in the content schedule.
Why did we also make broader reputation stories?
We expanded into documentaries about the reputations of well-known people and companies. We also began making Shorts for a broader audience.
The channel included stories about Elon Musk, Apple, and other public figures and businesses. These subjects gave Bogdan a way to discuss reputation through examples a wider audience recognized.
For example, the Elon Musk reputation documentary was published 21 May 2026. It had 8,485 views when checked on 1 Nov 2026.
Another example is the Apple reputation story, published 28 Aug 2026.
The formats overlapped. GEO explanations continued alongside broader stories. The public upload history shows a changing mix of content, rather than a complete switch away from each earlier subject.
That distinction matters for understanding the work. We were adapting the plan as the company's offer and content ambitions developed.
What do the different video formats look like?
These three videos show the range of topics we produced for Rating Up: a practical search question, an explanation of GEO, and a broader reputation story. The topic labels below are in English; the original videos are in Russian.
Search-focused content: reviews on Yandex
A practical question connected to Rating Up’s reputation management services. Published 23 Jan 2026.
GEO: visibility in AI answers
An explanation of the service Rating Up added as the business expanded. Published 2 Jul 2026.
Reputation documentary: Apple
A broader company story viewed through the subject of reputation. Published 28 Aug 2026.
What did we handle during production?
We organized the filming rather than leaving Bogdan to coordinate the shoot himself.
My team rented the studio and brought in a camera operator. I was behind the camera, helping Bogdan during recording.

The project was handled from ideas to publication. That included the content plan, preparation, filming, editing, and publishing.
For an expert, the recording session is where their knowledge has to become something another person can follow. Having someone behind the camera helps guide that conversation and support the speaker through the session.
Bogdan brought his expertise. We organized the production around it and turned the recordings into content for multiple platforms.
How did the monthly output change?
We started with our minimum package for this project: two long-form videos per month, with ten short clips cut from those recordings.
The current scope includes an additional set of separately recorded short videos.
| Monthly output | Earlier scope | Current scope as of 1 Nov 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Long-form videos | 2 | 2 |
| Short clips cut from the long-form recordings | 10 | 10 |
| Separately recorded short videos | Not part of the initial package | 30 |
That gives the current plan forty short videos per month, alongside the two long-form videos.
The distinction between the short-form formats is useful. Ten clips come from the long recordings. Thirty are filmed separately, giving us additional material beyond what we can extract from the longer conversations.
The current schedule describes today's scope; it should not be applied to the whole earlier reporting period.
Who handles publishing across all five platforms?
Our content department handles the full publishing and republishing process across YouTube, Instagram, VK, Rutube, and Dzen. Distribution across all five platforms is part of our work for Rating Up.
The account manager handles this work within our content department. Once the content is ready, they take care of publishing and republishing it across the five platforms.
I explain that role in how our account manager handles publishing and quality control.
What results can we show so far?
The YouTube Studio snapshot covers the 365-day window ending on 11 Oct 2026.
| YouTube channel metric | Recorded result |
|---|---|
| Views | 204,413 |
| Watch time | About 1,800 hours |
| Subscribers gained | 245 |
These are channel totals. They should not be described as long-form-only results or combined with another platform's counters.
Distribution also includes Rating Up's Dzen channel. Dzen is a Russian publishing and video platform where we republish the content.
The content we produced recorded 276,913 reads and views on Dzen from 1 Nov 2025 to 1 Nov 2026. The platform's report covers 366 days and lists 399 publications.
| Dzen metric | Recorded result |
|---|---|
| Reads and views | 276,913 |
| Impressions | 846,063 |
| Opens | 605,433 |
| Subscriptions generated | 234 |
Dzen labels its main consumption metric “reads and views.” Impressions and opens are separate counters. The report does not split the total between long-form videos, short videos, and other publication formats.
Several short videos reached five-figure viewing totals. The report shows 23,097 for a 39-second clip about avoiding a drop in sales, 18,489 for a 55-second clip about writing responses, and 12,318 for an 18-second clip about what clients check.
These are translated topic descriptions from the report's shortened titles. The figures come from the same “reads and views” column as the channel total.

The YouTube and Dzen reports cover different periods and use different metrics. Each platform's result is presented separately.
We are collecting the inquiry figures and Bogdan's testimonial. Those will help complete the business side of this case. The audience numbers above establish reach and viewing activity; they do not establish sales or production payback.
Does the partnership extend to Rating Up's clients?
Yes. We also support video content for companies working with Rating Up as a production subcontractor.
That is another way an agency can work with us. If your agency already creates content for clients, you can bring us in to handle part of the video work.
The scope depends on the project. We can discuss which production tasks you want to hand over and how they fit your existing client work.
