How to Create 80 Shorts in 3 Hours

Probably, you heard from famous YouTubers entrepreneurs like Alex Hormozi, Gary Vee about content marketing and how it boosts the business with low costs. But you have busy schedules, operational tasks, a lot of different meetings.
You have ZERO time to create content.
This blog post will be short and clear with actionable practical steps.
I will show you how to create 80+ YouTube Shorts just in 3 working hours and it’s not about using AI technology. This result is based on work with my client, boring, really boring self-storage business that builds warehouses across the country. This business raised more than
$500k dollars using videos that I produced for them. More about this case at the end of the article.
Video version of the blog post:
1. It’s time to delegate
Content creation requires:
- Money – you need to buy gear;
- Skills – you need to properly use this gear
- Time – you need to produce a lot of content
- In addition content management systems, different apps, all this various content marketing stuff.
So if you want to grow as a business owner, you need to focus on business side. Don’t spend time trying to figure out how to edit video for your business YouTube-channel.

If you didn’t know, YouTube is the second largest SEO platform. After Google itself. That’s one of the reasons why you need to post video content.
My main recommendation if you want to create video content you need to find:
- or YouTube producer who will manage YouTube and produce video content;
- or Head of Video Content who will manage video content across various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- or Filmmaker who knows how to work with YouTube. This person can do most of YouTube tasks and work part-time in your team.
If you are planning to make different photo and text content you need to think about hiring social media manager. Video requires more skills, more time to produce one piece of content, comparing with just a text or blog post where you need only a laptop with keyboard.
Video marketing itself has the highest ROI, so return on investment comparing with other types of marketing. And I’m not speaking about like creating the most expensive ads for example for Super Bowl. I’m speaking about typical publishing schedule where you need to post three posts per week or one video per week.

Some useful numbers about video marketing. Check the last line. Impressive, right?
2. It’s time to create digital version of yourself.
Different interviews, podcasts, shorts, long-form videos on YouTube, training for your employees.
These are parts of building digital version of yourself and your business. Content marketing is essential in this digital era.
So for this self-storage business that I manage, we make content to close different goals:
- Fundraising. We have video pitches about the investment opportunity, longer deep interviews with the founder, also we have recordings of Zoom event.
- Franchising. So we have also video pitch, interviews, longer videos about this, details how this franchise works. Basically we are using the same formats but we are targeting different audiences.
- Deepen the relationship. Showing bigger picture, mission, the team, founder in real world. It’s like bottom of the funnel where a viewer need to build this trust and deep connection after watching the most important videos. If you want to get money from a person (=buying products, services, or even investments for your growth), this person need to trust you.
And I’m speaking only about YouTube, but this business also covers other platforms. And this is a third point.
3. It’s time to repurpose
You can think strategically about these videos that you post. Out of one long-form YouTube video, we can create several shorts that are posted as YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. We create text posts, include this video in our automation sequence (email / chat-bot automation).
Using this perspective, I recommend to think about creating assets that will work during years after making and after investing in creating, for example, 5-minute video. You can use this video and it will work during years in your business.
Seems like a lot of work, you need to hire a lot of employees, but I manage YouTube channel by myself. I am the only one person who work and post like 90% of video content for this business. I don’t work full-time on this project. Other socials are managed by second person, full-time social media manager. Chief growth officer manages our and various contractors work. That scheme is totally doable even without huge in-house team.
How to make 80 Shorts in just 3 working hours?
It’s simple. Just record two Zoom events and create shorts out of it.
Sounds simple, but we need to create additional like next layer of good quality content production. If you take Zoom recording with poor audio and video quality, it will be terrible.
So here’s full breakdown what we did:
The company has two events. First one is private event for investors and second is public for potential franchise partners.
Before these events I set up camera, lights, good microphone and turned on “Original sound for musician” in Zoom. And just hit record.

Simple, but efficient setup to create high-quality videos.
Out of all this high-quality footage (3 hours of material) you can create Shorts. At this moment you can think about using AI apps that help with short-form video editing.
In total I’ve edited 84 Shorts. That’s a lot. If you have publishing schedule, one Short per day – you have three months of content.
You need three hours to recreate the same process and achieve this result.

Here’s how sequence with 40 Shorts looks like. Edited in Final Cut Pro.
